Jane Bartram - founder of Fox Feathers & Clover Designs

Jane has spent much of her life living, working & creating on the Gold Coast, Australia and her practice has always incorporated visual and textile art mediums. Over the years Jane has been a regular store holder at a number of craft markets across South East QLD and has found success in local art competitions and in selling her work. All these experiences have led Jane to refine her unique illustrative style which uses a combination of pen, watercolour and pastel to capture her bespoke animal portraiture.

Jane’s love of both art and animals began at a young age whilst growing up on her family farm in South East QLD. Jane developed a special affinity with both farm and native animals alike - developing a particular love for horses and drawing. Jane creates her art to make people smile and her work seeks to capture the inherent character and beauty found in nature. She hopes to share this love with others through her brand and through the evolving range of products to come.
 
Jane recently stepped away from full time work in order to follow her passion establishing her own small business and to spend more time with her family. Jane's holistic approach to her creative practice sees her balancing time between creating art in her home studio, being a private tutor for Gold Coast students, as well as bee keeping and tending to her subtropical garden.
